I love this app because you are able to see many pieces of art work for sale or even not for sale by many famous artists. This app also gives me inspiration for my own art work.

Hello ! Nice website. App crashes when loading with iOS 8.1.4 (latest iOS8); no access to the first page.

Im anxious to see the app but it unfortunately crashes every time I open it.

No "Starry Night," but two people who apparently think Edward Munch painted it.

Use to work fine but now it just crashes when I try to open it. Running iPhone 6s 9.2.1

"Failed to save artwork. Network connection error" non-stop. All else on my iPhone connects as expected, period.

It would be great to have a section for the galleries I follow so that I can keep track of their current exhibitions.

Very comprehensive list of relevant artist. I like that you can store your favorite artists. The auction price history for various pieces is great.

Love this app. I can keep tabs on my favorite artists and learn about artists I hadnt heard of. It does need some refining in terms of information listed but its still a great app.

Artsy comes close to being the ultimate art resource application in that it covers various facets of the industry whether it be education, discovery or just plain commerce. In terms of education the app featured daily articles and features covering the past, present and future of artworks and how they pertain to society as well as retrospectives on some of historys greatest artists. One improvement to this section I would like in a future update is the ability to save articles to read later. In terms of discovery one can look up not only museum and gallery shows but much more. The app can be used to discover fairs, auctions, artists, galleries and museums. The app excels also if your exploration is just contained to the works itself as you can search by subject matter, medium, and geographic regions. Artists themselves can be searched and their results will include a brief synopsis of their life and career as well as artworks and related artists. Images of artworks themselves whether in galleries or articles are high quality with a crisp and clean sheen look. The app takes no shortcuts in providing the user with a first rate experience. The app serves best aficionados as with an account you can save artworks, artists and categories in your favorites section. This is important because the data works to formulate a personalized profile of your likes. With that said Artsy is great both for novices, professionals and those who just would like to read about whats going on in the art world from time to time.

Ive tried quite a few similar apps and, as both a top-sheet glance and a thoroughly detailed account of whats happening in the contemporary art field, this app far outperforms the others in every way. Of special note is how successfully it maps out the relationships within the art world. I dont know if its in the search algorithms being used or maybe its in the nature of the user community the app has attracted, but the links offered, the relationships suggested, and the information flow in general are consistently spot on...both intuitively true and factually accurate. This means not only that the dataset is navigable as a faithful rendering of the art world at any given moment, but also that as I use the app, almost automatically, I encounter precisely the kind of new material I would have otherwise hoped to find. I use this tool daily.

Artsy is a great way to prepare for going to an Art Fair. I use it to see which booths I really want to visit. Also you can contact galleries that you might want to purchase from.

Easy to use with beautiful pictures. I love that I can keep up with my favorite artists and find new and exciting art.
